I tore the labrum in my right hip training for my third half marathon, and had several opinions from other doctors as to the root of the pain since the MRI was inconclusive. Dr. Wolff diagnosed the problem immediately and gave me detailed information on how to repair it. He inserted a pin to repair the labrum and shaved the neck of my femur to correct the femoral acetabular impingement in February 2013, after which I set back to training when able. Despite my advanced age at surgery (over 50), recovery was complete and I’ve since run 9 half marathons, along with several races of varying distances and just completed my first Marine Corps Marathon. Thank you so much, Dr. Wolff, for your skill, your detailed PT instructions and your total confidence in my recovery!
